The Tower
Sudden upheaval that shatters false foundations, clearing the way for truth and renewal.
Symbolism
A tall stone tower built on a rocky peak is struck by lightning and bursts into flames, knocking the golden crown from its top. Two figures plunge headfirst from the windows, arms outstretched. The lightning is a sudden flash of divine insight that cuts through illusion; the falling crown shows that ambitions built on false premises cannot stand; the 22 flames (or yods) scattering in the sky represent divine intervention even amid the destruction.
